Jacoby's Journey Group

Jacoby’s Journey Group is an ongoing in-person community designed to support individuals in grief, especially parents, grandparents, and adult siblings. It provides a safe space for people to connect and share their experiences as they navigate this often overwhelming path.

When:  Usually the first Thursday of each month from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.

We heal best in community. And child loss is the most devasting pain that someone can feel. Oftentimes, members of a family who have lost a child drift apart. Camp SHIELD allows grieving families connect with their family, as well as with their peers who are on the same journey.

Yes! Jacoby’s Shield is committed to providing quality bereavement services and resources to families at an affordable price. Camp SHIELD Family Bereavement Retreat is offered at only $10 per person to ensure that everyone can access the care they need during this difficult time.

No. Whether you had a miscarriage, your child was stillborn or 50 years old, Camp SHIELD is for you.

Yes. It’s a myth that time heals all wounds. If you are stuck in your grief, come and find support.

Yes, you are welcome to come alone to Camp SHIELD. We understand that families are not always able to attend together, and we are happy to have you join us.

If you think you’ve been exposed, or are possibly experiencing symptoms, please do not come.
